My Fitness Routine

I've been asked a few times to share my fitness routine. I have always loved working out and after each of my surgeries, I always had the itch to workout sooner rather then later. Right now I am doing P90x3, and I love it! The workouts are only 30 minutes long compared to the other 2 P90x series which are at least an hour each workout. I use to have time to do those when my daughter was a baby and slept a lot, but now we are always on the go and busy, so I do my workout in the morning after she goes to preschool. I add some other things to my workouts as well, like at night we may go for a bike ride or a walk. We also take hikes and are a pretty active family. I also love yoga, and once a week is a yoga workout in the P90x3 program. I feel like the body and soul need to be exercised together, exercise is therapeutic for me. Yoga quiets my mind and calms me for certain situations (and after certain situations). I also use a meditation app called Insight Timer on my phone as often as possible. There is a timer so even if I only have 5 minutes, I can do it. I also enjoy little burst of exercise throughout the day too, jumping rope, chasing my daughter, jumping jacks, rebounding. I find this helps pick up my energy when I'm feeling sluggish. So that's about it! What are your favorite ways to get exercise?
