Hi Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! We mostly ran errands and ate food (not that I am complaining). Nothing too exciting, but here are some highlights!
Before the weekend, we had 2 snow days. Little A and I made the best of them by doing crafts, playing games and eating yummy food. This was some crudite with raw ranch dressing that I got last weekend at Seed to Sprout Grocery.
I used a recipe from the Sunwarrior website for an electrolyte smoothie and made this smoothie bowl topped with Monukka raisins and mulberries. I loved the lemon in this smoothie, what a different taste, so good!
I had mentioned that one of my cravings has been Jana Sweet cookies, and that they would no longer be selling them! Boo! Lucky for me, T happened to stop at a health food store and grabbed a few boxes to help my craving. ;) I plan on buying more before they sell out!
One of the crafts that Little A and I did was painting mugs. I painted one for her and she painted one for me.
We also played in the snow! We love making snow angels!
On Friday I had my 20 week ultrasound and we all went! ;) Everything looked great and Little A won't let go of the picture of the baby. She carries it around with her now, so sweet! After my appointment, we stopped at Fresh Press Juice Co for some snacks. I had a "Maca Me Crazy" smoothie which is apple, banana, Young Coconut, cinnamon, maca and nutmeg, so good! I also had a bag of their kale chips, also delicious!
Little A wanted a slice of their amazing raw chocolate pie so after dinner her and I shared it! :)
On Saturday, I woke up wanting another "Maca Me Crazy" smoothie, so we went back to Fresh Press Juice Co for lunch. We had errands to run so I grabbed a few snacks from them. Little A had a Banna Whip (just blended banana) and raw granola bars and T and I had smoothies and kale chips.
One of my favorite finds of the weekend was these two organic Burts Bee Baby outfits! Marshalls seems to carry a lot of this line (I've heard from friends), but my Marshalls barely had any! I was happy to find these two cute outfits.
On Sunday, we had more errands to run, which meant a quick stop at Whole Foods for lunch. I had my favorite rice paper vegetable rolls.
When we got home, I made Quinoa Chili for dinner. I found this recipe on Pinterest but I make it my own. I have never been good at following directions... I mean recipes! ;)
