Hi! I hope you had a lovely weekend/Easter/Passover! I am a day late with posting because Little A is on Spring Break, so I am posting when I can. We have lots of fun stuff planned that I will post all about by the end of the week. For now an Easter recap..
On Saturday night, we dyed Easter eggs. Little A went for the "Hello Kitty" theme.
Here she is, very proud of her creations.
Little A left the Easter Bunny some carrots and a letter that she had me write. She signed it of course.
Once she was asleep, the Easter Bunny dropped off her basket filled with books, Shopkins, a bathing suit, a tshirt, a make your own princess magnet kit, organic jelly beans and a dream catcher for her new room.
On Easter morning she was very happy with her basket. We also had an egg hunt in the yard. We filled the eggs with change, a few dollars and more Shopkins.
Then it was time to get ready for our guests. We had 11 family members over for an early Easter dinner.
Little A and I all ready for our guests to arrive. I am not 25 weeks pregnant! (A pregnancy update coming tomorrow!).
We started off with a delicious salad that my Mother-in-law made.
Then for the "plant eaters"/gluten free-ers", we had gluten free pasta with tomato sauce, asparagus cooked in garlic and olive oil and potatoes roasted with coconut oil, sea salt, garlic and ground pepper. This was my plate after I already started eating.. Opps! Can't make a pregnant women remember to take a picture before eating! Ha Ha!
For dessert we had a Raw Chocolate Pie from Fresh Press Juice Co, a fruit platter and my Mother-in-law made almond butter cups! Let's just say, I am still stuffed! What a feast!
