Happy New Year! I can't wait to share all my 2017 plans with you all! For now, I'm going to share our weekend fun and how we celebrated New Years!
We had Chinese food take out one night. A place near us has a gluten free menu where they use organic Tamari! I had mei fun and veggie soup that Little A and I shared.
I found this amazing wraps at Whole Foods awhile back but I didn't get them because they were so pricey! They were on sale this week so I grabbed them to try. Holy yum! They are amazing! Just like a real flour tortilla. Pliable and soft! These will last awhile in the freezer. I'm so glad I have 8! Lol
If you have kids, you probably know about this game "Pie Face". Basically you put whipped cream in the end, spin the wheel and crank it for the number you get (and keep your fingers crossed that it doesn't release in your face!). We used So Delicious whip one night but when Baby S played, we just used a sponge.
Got my planner for 2017 at Michaels. Did you know of this crazy would of planners? There are stickers and accessories and it's sooooo my kind of fun!
On New Years Eve, Little A and I did a few crafts including making a fairy doll. She got this for Christmas along with so many other crafts. I think we've pretty much done them all during this past week!
T made Simple Mills chocolate cupcakes (veganized). I forgot to get a pic, but they were delicious! I also enjoyed some gold flaked chocolate and kombucha to ring in 2017.
Happy New Year!
On New Year's Day, we stayed home most of the day organizing and taking down our Christmas stuff. I made myself a salad for lunch (as always): arugula, tomatoes, kraut, olives, cucumbers, Kite Hill chive cream cheese and a veggie burger.
After that, we headed to Dean's Natural Market for their annual sale. I got myself a green juice.
Baby S enjoyed some of it as well.
Here is what I ended up buying.
For dinner we had lentils with Swiss chard for good luck and prosperity in the new year!
Here's to a healthy happy 2017! Thanks for reading, friends! xo
