In case you didn't hear, we had a big snow storm in the North East. Well, not as big as they predicted. We were told Storm "Stella" would drop 20+ inches on us, luckily, we only got about 8 plus lots of rain, ice and wind. Needless to say, Little A had the day off of school and T stayed home from work.
Hot cocoa is a must for a snow day! I have been using my Superfood Organic Vegan Cocoa Complex from Neal's Yard Remedies. (On sale for half off right now, plus you get a free bag of organic vegan green powder: https://us.nyrorganic.com/shop/laurennastasi/area/shop-online/category/free-organic-greens-complex/). As you know, I sell NYR, so if you purchase through my link, I earn a commision. It really is a great deal for two powders filled with superfoods and mushrooms!
For lunch I made myself almond flour wraps with spinach, Seed to Sprout "cheese" sauce and coconut bacon.
Little A had fun throwing snowballs at T while he shoveled the driveway.
Little S and I stayed inside and watched from the window.
Little A helped out too of course!
For dinner I made a big pot of Pasta Fagioli. So good and a stick-to-your-ribs kind of meal!
We played games, read books, did puzzles, watched movies and danced. By the end of the day, Little S had passed out in her PJ's with soup all over them! ;)
Did you get hit by Stella? ;)
