Hi! I hope you had a lovely weekend and a wonderful Monday! Our weekend was super busy, super fun and super yummy!
On Friday, little Miss A graduated from kindergarten. It hasn't really hit me yet, because she still has school until Friday, but I'm really down and out about how fast this school year went. The fastest yet for sure! Even Little A said that!
After that, I took Little A grocery shopping with me at Whole Foods where I had a green tea almond milk latte.
Saturday morning was a rush to ballet. I had tomato, ground pepper and some Kite Hill cream cheese on a gluten free English Muffin while out the door.
After that, we headed to the TriState Veg Fest in the pouring rain!
We were some of the first people to arrive so we got a free coconut water each!
Little A was hungry so we went straight for the food and luckily before the lines started. She had vegan meatballs from Hanna's meatballs. She said they were really good (and ate all 3).
T opted for an acai/pitaya bowl from Soul Bowls which happens to be located a town away from us!
I headed to Yeah Dawg of course! If you have been following me for a while, you know how much I love these vegan hotdogs made from root vegetables, gluten-free flour and seeds. I brought a package home as well.
We took home some Stoner Girl Cupcakes too. Little A and I liked the chocolate one best! Yum!
On Father's Day, we headed to Brooklyn!
T wanted to hit up some of the Italian markets.
In our ventures, we came across Riverdel vegan cheese shop! I've been wanting to check this place out for awhile! I didn't disappoint, they had it all!
Grilled "cheese" sandwiches on gluten free bread for the girls.
Italian sandwiches on Gluten free for me.
The inside of the Italian sandwich which had vegan mozzarella, tomato, arugula and pesto. So good!
The grilled cheese was pretty amazing too! Even had pickles on it. Yum!
Here are the goodies we took home! The vegan salami is for T. Everything we got has been so good! We love it all. I wish I could go back and stock up on more of these same products because they are that good!
