Christmas 2018

January 4, 2019

Happy belated Holidays, everyone! Christmas came and left so fast this year. Probably because I wasn't around during most of the season, and when I was, I didn't leave the house! But, I still got in the spirit and it turned out to be a wonderful holiday!

The girls decorated the tree by themselves. T was making dinner, and I had just gotten home from the hospital, so I watched from the couch. They did such a beautiful job. I didn't realize how many Disney ornaments we've collected over the years. We also get an ornament from any trip we got on; we have one from Disney, Ithaca, Woodloch, Woodstock and more!

Christmas Eve ready! This is our crazy night. We go to 3 different places to visit family. We made a deal that if I wasn't up for it, we would leave at anytime. Luckily, everywhere I went, I was able to get comfy and put my legs up, so we made all 3 spots!

My first time out and about (and dressed with makeup), in weeks! Felt good to be sorta normal.

Christmas Eve dinner at my Mother-in-laws (she's gluten free and vegan too): eggplant no-parm, salad, stuffed mushrooms, and potatoes.

My sis-in-law (she is gluten free) brought vegan gluten free donuts! Yum!

We made some delicious gluten free vegan cookies for Santa. I think he liked them! ;)

The girls were very happy Christmas morning with all their gifts!

I love seeing how excited they get. We also talk about the true meaning of Christmas, and gratitude.

Speaking of gratitude, T always gets me the most lovely gifts. All of these pieces are from Satya Jewelry (my favorite!).

Christmas Day was at my sister's house. The girls love playing with their cousin!

Family pic! I definitely spent most of the day with my legs up on the couch. It was a beautiful holiday with family.

My sis (who is 8 months pregnant), made a delicious feast: vegan gluten free lasagna (I usually make this but I was out of commission), brussel sprouts, salad, and green beans.

And, ending out the night with a kiss under the mistletoe! Hehe! XO
