Holiday Happiness: Christmasing in PA!

December 23, 2014

Hi! I hope you all had a nice weekend. Again, sorry for the lack of posts lately. I will be able to reveal my project very soon and then I will have lots to post about! ;)

Our weekend was busy with last minute Christmas shopping. Saturday was filled with that along with errands. When I got home, I was famished. Little A and I tore these raw super cookies open and ate every last crumb!

In my travels, I had to stop at Marshalls where I picked up these raw goodies: dried organic figs, raw onion rings and cinnamon and currant flax crackers.

The weather was very chilly, I usually stay in on days like that, but I had no choice. Haha! Later on I made lentils with purple potatoes, carrots, garlic, celery and kale to warm us up. Turned out delicious!

On Sunday, we took a trip to Peddler's Village in PA. I love it there! The village is so charming and filled with lots of little Mom and Pop shops. My favorite store sells the most gorgeous spiritual/new age gifts. The village was decorated for Christmas and I am sure is beautiful at night when all lit up.

On our way home, we stopped at Basil's Bandwagon Natural Market. One of my favorite health food stores! I found some great goodies. This honeydew kombucha was delicious!

The rest of the goodies I haven't tried yet. But I will let you know how they are. I have been seeing this raw chocolate around, so I am excited to give it a try. I couldn't pass up the caramel coconut butter cups!

This raw superfood chocolate almond cup was calling my name!

And lastly, I have been wanting to try Bearded Brothers bars for a long time now, but could never find them. I am going to snack on this one tomorrow.

We arrived home to a package at the door. I won Heather Pace's Sweetly Raw Dessert book from

This book is so gorgeous! I can't wait to try the recipes.

Have a beauty-filled day! XO
