Overnight Chia Oats (plant-based, beegan, gluten free option)
I never had overnight oats until yesterday morning! I know, shocking since they are one of the biggest trends in healthy eating right now. But to be honest, I'm a smoothie in the morning kind of girl! Even after enjoying this delicious breakfast, I felt sad without my morning smoothie! Anyway, I created this little mixture the night before and I thought it came out very good!
1/2 cup of oats (gluten free oats if gluten free)
1/2 cup almond milk
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 scoop of Sunwarrior Protein (I used chocolate) (or your favorite plant based protein)
1 tbsp honey
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Add all ingredients to a jar and mix well. Place in fridge overnight and enjoy in the morning!
