The other day for lunch I wanted to make Little A and I something seasonal and fun! I thought something orange like carrots would be perfect for my little bunny rabbit and so became "The Bunny Milk Smoothie". I told Little A that if bunnies drank smoothies, this would be it! She enjoyed helping me make it and slurping up her own bowl.
You can make this as a regular smoothie or as a "smoothie bowl" for a little more fun. I topped with coconut flakes and golden raisins to make it look even more "bunny like".
Bunny Milk Smoothie Bowl (raw, plant-based, paleo, vegan, gluten free, kid-friendly!)
1 cup of frozen or fresh mango
1 frozen banana
1 tbsp of lucuma (optional) or a pinch of vanilla
Coconut water to cover
Blend all ingredients until smooth, drink as a smoothie or garnish with coconut flakes and golden raisins and eat as a bowl!
This was another fun idea that I got from my friend Rawdorable. I made my own twist on it for Little A's liking.
I used bananas for the bodies, blueberries for the eyes, a raw chocolate chip for the nose and mango for the ears. Little A really got a kick out of this!
