Weekend Eats, Costco Haul and Fun!

August 29, 2016

Hi! I hope you had a lovely weekend! We had lots of errands to run so it was less fun than normal. But we have a fun week ahead as our last full week of Summer vacation!

On Friday night, we kept is simple with sandwiches for dinner! We all had a variety of the same thing. Mine was garden cucs and tomatoes, spinach, roasted peppers and Kite Hill Chive Cream Cheese on gluten free bread. T and Little A had theirs on sourdough rolls; Little A had hummus and Tofu added and T made his a panini and added Tofurky slices to his.

On Saturday, we made pizza for dinner. Again, we all had a variety of the same thing. Mine was spinach, sauce, garden tomatoes, roasted peppers and olives on a brown rice wrap.

We ran to Costco on Saturday for a few things to add to Little A's school lunches. The girls were adorable in the cart together, too bad it didn't last long. Baby S won't sit still for longer than 10 minutes. T carried her the rest of the time.

Thelma and Louise in action!

Smoothie bowl goodies for lunch. Topped with oats, granola, Love Grown cereal, Barney Butter and coconut flakes.

Pasta for another easy dinner: gluten free quinoa pasta with broccoli and garden tomatoes. I recently got this Nutritional Yeast and it is amazing! There are no added synthetic vitamins and the flavor is really delicious!

National Dog Day was celebrated with lots of cuddles for Ginger. Can you believe she's 10 years old? Anyone who use to follow Ginger is the New Pink remembers our spunky pug very well!

I also got to try a new juice place in town that has acai bowls! This one was pretty yummy! I'll go back to try their others for sure!

Finally, I mentioned we went to Costco, here is our haul!

Have a lovely Monday! XO
