Recipe: Pear Milk

Earlier this week, I made this smoothie/mylk recipe for Baby S and she loved it. I thought it was pretty good too but I'm not a huge fan of the taste of hemp seeds. Apparently she is. Anyway, because of the hemp seeds, this recipe has good fats and omega 3's. I know people hear hemp and think of marijuana but that's not the case. Hemp contains no THC and will not get you high. Lol. My girls seem to prefer hemp and coconut over any other dairy free mylk. The black strap molasses in this is a great way to add iron, potassium and minerals into your little ones (or your) diet. 

Pear Milk (kid friendly, vegan, Plantbased, gluten free)


1 Pear

1/2 cup hemp seeds

1 tablespoon black strap molasses

1 dash cinnamon

1 tsp barley grass juice powder (Or any green powder. You can use some spinach as well.)

Probiotic powder (Optional. I use the Garden of Life kids one for the girls)

2 cups of water use less if you want more of a smoothie



Blend all ingredients in blender and enjoy!
