Thanksgiving/Little A's Birthday/Pizza Party Friday Night

November 28, 2016

Hi! I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving! We celebrated Little A's birthday on Thanksgiving this year and on Saturday had her big birthday bash with all her friends!

I'm a fan of birthdays. I love doing something special for my loved ones (and treating myself) on their special day. Even though Little A was having a party out of the house, that wasn't until Saturday. So on Thursday morning, she woke up to a few small gifts and the dining room decorated.

Some adorable Shopkins we got her.

I'm going to start by saying, this weekend was in no way healthy, we enjoyed lots of celebrating and lots of yummy treats. I don't believe in depriving myself or my family. Okay, now that that is out of the way, this was the vegan gluten free ice cream cake we got for Little A's birthday/Thanksgiving.

A few gluten free vegan cupcakes as well.

Of course I got a cookie for the road. Hehe!

Our family at my Mother-in-law's house for dinner.

Mischievous Baby S.

My girls and I (my dress is from Target. Little A and Baby S' dresses are from Marshalls).

The kiddie table for my niece and Little A.

The adult table.

We started with a vegan Caesar salad (recipe from the Candle 79 cookbook).

My delicious plate of goodness: my Mother-in-law made sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and broccoli casserole; my mother made rice pilaf and the stuffing, cranberries, tempeh and gravy are all from Seed to Sprout Cafe.

My sis-in-law made this adorable turkey fruit platter.

My big 6 year old blowing out her candles.

On Friday night, we had "Pizza Party Friday Night" with Duncan, Diana and Riley! If you don't know who they are, you are missing out on an awesome vegan family! They vlog their daily life adventures in England and it just so happens, Diana's mother lives about 3 minutes from me. Literally down the block and across the street. So when they visit, we meet up!

We had pizza at Blaze pizza. Gluten free for me! You can see more on their Vlog here:

On Saturday, we had Little A's first "friend" birthday party. We had it at a princess place and princess Belle came!

Baby S wore her Cinderella dress, because she had to be a princess too!

The girls made a tea pot frame and had their picture taken with Belle.

Happy girl with her vegan gluten free cupcake and fruit cup!

She was pretty starstuck by Belle.

Special cupcake for a special girl!
