Hi! I hope you had a nice weekend. We basically finished up some Christmas errands (still not done shopping though), and ate yummy food (as usual). Today I am sick! Actually, it started last night with a fever and chills and today I have a congestion headache and sore throat. T was sick last week, so I'm not surprised I got it. I've been loading up on vitamin c and elderberry, but the lack of sleep (Baby S is the reason for that) didn't help.
Anyway, on Friday I had this delicious salad: arugula, Dr. Praegars hash brown pattie, a Hilary burger, olives, turmeric kraut and tomatoes.
For dinner I made lentil pasta with tomato sauce, arugula, olives, nutritional yeast and Miyokos cashew cheese.
Saturday morning we were up bright and early for ballet for Little A. We got a dusting of snow so I made a nice warm bowl of oatmeal. I cooked it with two dates and half a banana then added chopped banana, cranberry jam, peanut butter and maple syrup.
After ballet, Little A and I warmed up with some hot cocoa made with Coco Mojo and reishi.
We hit up Whole Foods for lunch. I had arugula (can you tell it's my green of choice lately?), potatoes, dolmas and tofu.
On Sunday, we ordered Chinese for lunch. We rarely have Chinese food, but T wasn't feeling great still and wanted their soup. I had broccoli and rice. The local Chinese place uses organic Tamari when you ask for it to be gluten free.
Girlies in Costco!
Have a nice day!
