I've been making tofu and tempeh for a long time now. Probably over 10 years! I went through S period where I avoided soy but now I'm happy to have it back in my diet! Tofu is so versatile that you can really make it taste anyway you'd like! Tempeh is a little tricker (for me), I never made it taste as good as it does when I would have it out. Until now! I made this recipe with tempeh and my family loved it! Then I made it with tofu and again, loved!
Perfect Tofu in a veggie stir fry with millet
Perfect tempeh served fajita style
Perfect Tofu/Tempeh (vegan, gluten free)
1 block of extra firm tofu or one package of tempeh cubed
Coconut Secret Garlic Sauce
Coat pan with avocado oil and heat in medium high. Add tofu or tempeh to pan once hot. Letnit brown on one side and flip. Once you flip, coat with all seasonings (a sprinkle of each is good) and a large drizzle of Coconut Secret Garlic Sauce. Let brown on that side. Once both sides are brown, flip on the sides that aren't cooked and let them cook for a minute each (don't brown these sides or it will become too chewy). Enjoy in a stir fry, on a sandwich, in a salad or however you'd like!
