Weekend Adventures in Hoboken and The Impossible Burger!

October 24, 2017

Hi! I hope you had a nice Monday and a great weekend! This week and we ventured into Hoboken and had lunch with T’s Aunt at Bareburger.

The view of New York City while driving to Hoboken.

We were greeted by David Bowie as we drove into Hoboken.

At Bareburger, I had the Farmstead burger which is vegan by default. There are many vegan options and they use organic ingredients. Even the fries are fried in organic oil.

T had The Impossible Burger. In case you don’t know, it’s the vegan burger that bleeds! They had just started carrying it the day before. He had vegan cheese and a sprouted bun. He said it was unreal how much it tasted like meat. I tried it and I agreed!

The girls had mini vegan sweet potato burgers (sorry, no pic). We shared fries too! Yum!

After lunch, we walked down to the park. Check out that view of NYC.

I enjoyed a Tangerine Kombucha that I grabbed at a health food store on the way to the park. This was super refreshing. The weather was in the high 70’s so it was a beautiful day for a walk.

The girls are every day adventurers!

More views.

Little A got a close up of the city.

Such beautiful weather.

Taking it in with my girls.

On Sunday, we ran a few errands which included Acai Bowls from The Juice House.

We took our bowls to the park where Little S acted silly as usual.

Little A enjoying her bowl on the bench.

Little S shared with me.

Saying “hi” to the geese.

That was our morning. On Sundays, T watches football, so we spend the morning out and come home before 1.

But he makes it up to us by making delicious pizza! Haha! Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Crust, tomato sauce, arugula, olives, Miyoko’s and Parmela cheese. So good!
