Hi guys! I mentioned recently that Little A brings juice to school once in awhile and how much it pains me. Haha! In her class they get a juice break once a day, and although I told the teacher that juice with the healthiest option for them, most of the parents continue to send it in. Little E not one to want to be left out, has talked me into letting her bring it a few times a week. We buy the honest brand because it has less sugar is natural that I’ve come across, but I still don’t feel great about it. Thank God Summer is almost here! Hehe!
I’ve been working with NJ Sugar Breakdown to help spread the word on the damage sugary drinks can do to us and our children. Everything from Gatorade, vitamin water, juices, even some plant milks have added sugars. This is definitely something to be more conscious of.
