Woodloch Summer!

September 10, 2018

Hey! So sorry for the absence from the blog! Life got busy, as usual! Everyone is back to school now, so I have a little more time to come here and share with you all!

The last week of August, we were lucky enough to spend some time at Woodloch. If you remember, this past May we visited for our first time. Needless to say, we love it there so much, that we knew we’d be back! If you live in the area, I highly suggest looking into a family trip to Woodloch. Located in the Pocono Mountains, we are about 2.5 hours away.

Home sweet home! Woodloch feels like home to us, our special place to enjoy as a family.

This was our suite this time around.

Two beds with a view of the lake!

The girls couldn’t wait to finally swim in the lake! When we were there in the Spring, the outdoor water activities weren’t open yet.

Views for days!

“I wish I could stay here forever” says the sign at Woodloch, and me every time we go!

Little A was happy to take a dip in the lake.

And of course to go down the waterslide into the lake!

Little S got in on the action too! I went down myself as well (there’s a video on my Instagram @LaurenGinger). Omg! That slide was fast and steep! I’m shocked that Little S did it twice and Little A did it too many times to count. I went down twice and my stomach was in my chest for hours after. Lol!

Little S and I taking it all in!

We headed to the pools afterwards.

This was the small pool which had a little slide and some different fountains for the girls to play in while T and I relaxed a little.

It also had this water shooter. Little S loved squirting the kids! Haha!

Woodloch is so scenic!

I could take pictures for days and each would be more people than the next.

T did some paddle boarding!

More fun in the lake. Little A and I also headed to the big pool, and then to the indoor pool for a little.

Then it was time for dinner!

For every meal, we are always greeted by a kid friendly character.

At Woodloch, they are soooo accommodating to allergies and diets. We tell them ahead that we are vegan, and they always have so many options for us. This was the dinner buffet. We all had salad, artichokes with roasted peppers, potatoes, and olives to start.

I had the tofu stir fry for my entree.

T had the stuffed portabella mushrooms. He said they were delicious! The girls had pasta with marinara sauce.

For dessert, some So Delicious coconut milk ice cream. We also had Enjoy Life cookies. What a treat!

Little A is a pretty good photographer!

Sunset on the lake.

Such a gorgeous night! We went to an Irish Festival they were having where the girls got to play on a big bouncy slide and they had live music, beer, vendors, and more!

The next morning we were greeted by this guy at breakfast.

The dining room has this adorable wall. Totally photo worthy!

I had tofu scramble with breakfast potatoes.

The girls had CherryBrook Farms pancakes with fresh orange juice.

T had Vans Waffles. Love all the options we have!

It was a rainy day, so we did some of the indoor activities like visiting the arcade and game area.

They also have a basketball court that T loves to enjoy!

Thanks for the memories Woodloch! Hope to see you again next Summer!
