This weekend was a blast! I had so much fun celebrating turning 35! T and I got some alone time, which is always a plus! And the weather was nice and even warm in Sunday!
Birthday girl selfie! Had my hair trimmed, it never looks this good!
Had a lovely little lunch with Little S. Açaí bowls and a vegan blueberry muffin for her.
That glorious açaí bowl!
T sent me some beautiful flowers. We ordered food for dinner, had some cookies, and when the girls went to bed, we watched some Schitt’s Creek. Side note: Anyone else watch? So funny.
On Saturday, we headed down to my parent’s house to drop the girls off. We had lunch at Seed to Sprout. I had their buffalo chickpea salad with tempeh and a Dandy Blend Latte.
Our super fun weekend continued with dinner at Modern Love in Brooklyn. This restaurant is ran by Isa Chandra. One of the first vegan cookbooks I owned was by her! The food was so good! This was the Hen of The Woods Picatta. T had their Chickpea Cutlets and loved it.
Buffalo Tempeh to share. Again, delicious!
For dessert we had Almond Joy Pie and T had a cannoli too. Mmm!
On Sunday, we picked up the girls with some sweet treats from Papa Ganache vegan bakery.
Finally, after grabbing the girls, we stopped at Greens and Grains for lunch. This was their Sesame Kale Wrap with Smoked tofu. I had mine gluten free!
This was an amazing started to the year! So much fun ahead! Xo
