Eventful Weekend

April 8, 2019

Another busy weekend in the books! We’ve had event after event the past few weekends. It’s time to hang up my dancing shoes for awhile and get back to my healthy (soberish) life!

I’ll start with Thursday because it was yummy! We had Blaze Pizza for dinner. This was mine, all veg, no fake cheese.

On Friday, Little S and I met T for lunch at The Saladhouse. Little S and I both had a falafel wrap and T had their Impossible Burger from their secret menu! Shh!

I had the opportunity to help out at Little A’s Brownie meeting. We talked about being our best selfs and they got to try lots of fruits and veggies with hummus and green juice (they all loved it!).

We had an event for Little S’ school Friday night. It was their parents night out. Two drinks too many for me! Which meant the hangover helper on Saturday morning!

T also got me an açaí bowl from Fresh Press.

We went down to visit family at the shore on Saturday. We stopped at Natures Plate and I had a tofu sandwich.

We also stopped at Papa Ganache vegan bakery. I had a gluten free rainbow cookie and the girls had a cupcake and cookie sandwich. T had a slice of crumb cake.

I arrived home to my Goddess Provisions box. Love it!

Saturday night we had another event, a gala for the NJ Festival Orchestra. T’s business is one of their sponsors so we were invited to attend this glamorous event. I’ve been getting so many comments on my dress, it was actually Rent The Runway, which is an awesome app where you can rent designer dresses for a fraction of the price!

On Sunday, we drove out to the new Profeta Farms Otha is market.

We left with so many awesome goodies including this ginger kombucha which was soooo good! You can see all the goodies I picked up in my stories on Instagram at @LaurenGinger.

Spring is definitely in the air!

Which means ending the weekend with a bike ride and walk!

And the weekend not only started with pizza, but ended as well! Love Trader Joe's cauliflower crust with Miyokos cheese, broccoli rabe, and heirloom tomato, olives, and red onion. YUM!
